On 27 September 2017 1C-Bitrix published performance and fault-tolerance tests for 1C-Bitrix Enterprise. Per the article, the then-current version handled at least 1.8 million products, about a hundred regions, and a complex classifier with differing prices, stock, and promotions.
Conditions mirrored a large online store; similar tests ran in 2007, 2010, and 2015. For high-load CMS storefronts this is a reference when choosing edition and architecture for Bitrix websites.
