SERKONS case: migrating a corporate site to 1C-Bitrix

In May 2017 a case study by Marat Magdeev (SERKONS) described moving a corporate site to 1C-Bitrix CMS. For eight years the site ran on an unsupported legacy system: slow pages, no mobile version, hard edits for non-developers, and integration issues.
The company needed a modern site for search engines and users; the old engine blocked required changes. Migration took just over a week, according to the case. It illustrates a typical reason to switch to Bitrix websites when speed and editing standards rise.
