1C-Bitrix: Site Management. Small Business License

Small Business is the Site Manager commerce edition for launching a Bitrix storefront without the full Business module pack. Catalog, cart, and orders are in scope. RunetLab licenses it, picks a template, and sets up sales.

1C-Bitrix: Site Management. Small Business License

When Small Business is the right call

This edition enters the conversation the moment a site stops being a services brochure and starts selling products online. You need product cards, SKU offers, a cart, checkout, and an order desk for managers — without the heavier Business edition.

Typical projects: niche shops, local retail with delivery, brands with up to a few thousand SKUs, or service companies adding a compact e-com block.

Versus Start, Standard, and Business

  • Start / Standard — corporate content without a full store.

  • Small Business — the baseline Bitrix commerce contour: catalog, cart, orders.

  • Business — expanded commerce capabilities and headroom for complex or large storefronts.

  • First Site — not designed for e-commerce.

Unsure between Small Business and Business? Share catalog size, omnichannel needs, 1C integrations, and order-desk headcount — we will size the edition without padding the budget.

What we configure first

Catalog structure and product properties, trade offers (size, color), cart and checkout, order statuses, payment and shipping modules, customer and manager notifications, and basic SEO on product cards. Teams often install a Marketplace storefront (Aspro, Intec, and similar) within edition requirements.

In parallel we decide whether stock sync from 1C and order handoff to Bitrix24 are required — that is implementation work, not a license checkbox.

Who Small Business fits — and who outgrows it

Fits: sales launch, mid-size assortment, common payment/shipping methods, one storefront. Outgrows: complex wholesale rules, heavy custom pricing, high concurrency, or modules Bitrix places in Business. Then an upgrade beats changing CMS.

On this card: renewal, upgrade from Start, upgrade from Standard, new license.

Risks of “license only” launches

Buying a key and dropping a template is only half the job. Broken product properties, a clumsy checkout, and missing backups kill conversion faster than choosing the wrong neighbor edition. RunetLab wraps license and delivery: from key to first paid orders.

Separately plan fiscal receipts, offer text, and policies — the Bitrix license does not replace them.

RunetLab: license plus turnkey store

RunetLab is a Bitrix partner: we sell Small Business, renew it, help upgrade from content editions, install a template, configure catalog and orders, and integrate 1C/Bitrix24. Tell us the niche and approximate assortment — we propose the edition and a launch estimate.
